Taisiia Nakonechna is a poet, prose writer, translator, and public and cultural figure, and the author of poetry collections, short stories, and translations from Dutch into Ukrainian. She writes in Ukrainian, English, and Dutch. Her Ukrainian-language work has been translated into English and Polish, and her books have been featured at international literary festivals across Europe. In 2024, she became the first Ukrainian author invited to serve on the jury of the Asian Prize for Short Story. She is a member of PEN Vlaanderen, and is based in Ghent, Belgium.
